Roadwork that obstructed Soi Nongmaikaen 6 since November has been finished nearly two months ahead of schedule.
Nongprue Sub-district Clerk Teerawit Thongnok inspected the work to lay new sewer lines, manholes and resurface the commuter road Jan. 2 and found it all to his satisfaction.
For Fun Construction and Services Co. started work on the 1.9-million-baht project on Nov. 22 and had until Feb. 20 to finish the job on the 317-meter street.
Nongprue residents, accustomed to slow work and long delays, were shocked and pleased to have the road open again so soon.
