Nong Plalai’s Saisomboon Road has been patched after months of complaints.
Road workers were seen fixing the road, which was a hazard for local residents for many months after erosion affected it during the rainy season. It was neglected, but finally gained the local government’s attention after several media reports.
Mayor Pinyo Homklan said Nong Plalai had been waiting on Chonburi for machinery and a budget to fix the road. There were many potholes, large and small, so a regular patching job wouldn’t have solved the issue long-term.
So they had to wait until the machinery was free. He said other areas will now be fixed as well.
