The HTMS Pinklao fired a 15-gun salute to welcome the new commander of the Royal Thai Fleet.

Retiring commander, Adm. Pijan Teeranet passed over the command flag to successor Vice Adm. Narith Prathumsuwan in the Sept. 29 ceremony on the deck of the HTMS Naresuan aircraft carrier. Narith officially took his post Oct. 1.

The nearby Pinklao then fired its 15 guns to mark the transfer of authority before Narith’s lieutenants reported to hear their new commander’s plans for the next year.
