After presiding over the opening ceremony of the exchange program, Deputy Nakhon Phanom Governor said Nakhon Phanom had a potential in organizing projects and hosting events in order to develop its community as the province was rich in nature, culture, tradition, love, and unity; all of which provided environment conducive to learning through exchange programs. The project provides Vietnamese youths with an opportunity to exchange knowledge and culture with their Thai counterparts. In addition, the project is also aimed at promoting bilateral relations between the two countries.
12 youths from each of the two countries, 24 altogether, who have been selected will be staying with their host families in Nen Nam Kham Village of Nakhon Phanom Province before visiting places in Bangkok and its vicinity. The exchange program will end on July 19th.
