Paramedics were called to the North Pattaya depot Nov. 2 when a pregnant woman went into labor. A medical team from Pattaya City Hospital was dispatched.

Samlee Suangsuwan, 37, was sitting exhausted on the floor of the toilet with the head of the infant already emerging. Doctors successfully delivered the child and both mother and the new baby boy were fine.

Samlee’s husband said the couple was bound for Nakhon Ratchasima but she went into labor while waiting on the hard plastic chairs.

Samlee went to the restroom for privacy and her husband ran for help.

The bus company refunded their tickets.
