The Pattaya Masseurs Club elected Withep Tuanthong its new president at the last meeting where members could join.

Pattaya legal chief Sretapol Boonsawat chaired the March 8 meeting meant to elect a successor to Manop Sakorn. The meeting also was the last chance for new masseurs and masseuses to register this year to provide service on Pattaya Beach.

As was done in Jomtien and Dongtan beaches, Pattaya vendors now will be uniformed in yellow shirts.

At the meeting, club officials checked current registrations and ensured that new applicants had a certificate showing they’d completed a proper training course.

At the next meeting, a new board will be elected and tasked with maintaining member standards.

Those found violating city or club regulations will be suspended for a week and banned from the beach on a second offense.
