Pattaya continues to scrape clean its drainage system in a race against upcoming rainy season storms, moving through the Khao Noi Community.

City council members joined Theerasak Jatupong, director of the Pattaya Order and Security Office, and workers from the Environment Department on an inspection of the progress in dredging drainage pipelines in East Pattaya.

The city already has finished dredging pipes in the Baan Nern Rodfai Community and Nong Yai Ban Lang Community. The latest work stretched from Soi Khao Noi along the railroad parallel road to Soi Khao Talo, a distance of 500 meters.

Councilman Praiwan Arromchuen said the area is located in the lowest part of the railway road. The drainage pipes will bear large loads of water from higher elevations. He thanked everyone for their hard work in clearing the drains.
