Pattaya Division of Public Health Administrator Sinphat Chimthin opens the event with his speech about sanitation and disease control in restaurants, hotels and other tourist service providers.
The event is held annually to maintain and raise the health standards of tourist-facing businesses, such as restaurants, hotels and salons. Not only does poor sanitation and hygiene affect health, it impacts the city’s international reputation, workshop leaders said.
The seminar educated about 30 participants while helping them understand standards and legal requirements.
