‘Green tourism’ in focus June 16-17

The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s will host a “green tourism” event June 16-17 at Bali Hai Pier to promote environmental conservation.

Pattaya deputy Tourism Department Director Santi Pawai and his TAT counterpart Seri Champa-nguen announced the event aimed at raising public awareness about the environment May 16.

The officials toured Bali Hai Pier and inspected Pattaya Beach to prepare for the event.

The project is part of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports’ policy to protect natural resources and raise public awareness on environmental conservation.
