On June the 21st at the Redemptorist Children’s Home the director Supachai Sathirasilapin chaired a ceremony that would raise funds for scholarships, the vice president of the Father Ray’s foundation Reverend Pichan Chaiseree along with staff and children were also in attendance.
The manager of the children’s home Mrs. Sasithorn Jaroenthap stated that this ceremony was based on religious practices that encourage people to help those in need in the community by donating money to the priests which under Buddhist culture is known as merit making.
This money will go to providing scholarships.
A lot of funds were donated by kind hearted people on the day and these will go towards providing scholarships for worthy students.
