A Frenchman died after jumping three floors to his death at a Pattaya shopping mall.
The body of Claude Andre Atoine Tohrer, 71, was found on the third floor of Central Festival Pattaya Beach Dec. 1.
Witnesses said that the mall was about to close and staffers were asking patrons to leave when they came across the man. He was acting strangely before climbing over the railing on the sixth floor.
Passersby yelled at the man, trying to get him to climb back over, but he decided to jump before help arrived.
He was killed instantly.
Police were checking security camera footage to see what happened to Tohrer before he jumped.
