The flood center is also equipped with new technologies which are currently in use worldwide in disaster prevention.
The governor added that the flood center’s main focus is on 4 issues, consisting of flood prevention, preparation, problem solving, and flood rehabilitation, in compliance with the royal initiative of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Ayutthaya province is geographically situated in lowland and is crossed by 4 rivers, namely the Chao Phraya, Pa Sak, Lop Buri, and Noi Rivers. The province therefore faces flood problems every year.
