Police pulled over their Honda Wave motorbike, but the pair refused to stop. Officers gave chase as they headed toward Sukhumvit Road.

The chase went on for some time but ended on the busy highway near Numchai Electronics when the two crashed and sustained minor injuries.

Neither of the men had drugs on them, but officers retracing their 20-kilometer escape route found three packs of crystal methamphetamines on Sukhumvit Soi 51.

The suspects denied the drugs found on the road were theirs.

Police planned to test the cigarette boxes that held the drugs for the suspects’ DNA, check CCTV cameras and take other steps to prove they discarded the drugs after breaking through the checkpoint.
