Community President Jirawat Plukjai announced the launch of the new center Jan. 10, which is separate from the long-running city government complaint center.

The center is being organized in cooperation with the Royal Thai Police, but a dedicated phone number has not yet been set. Until it is, residents can still call 191 to report a problem and simply identify themselves as a “good Samaritan” before describing suspicious activities or crimes.

All reported info will be monitored by local police and assistance will be provided when needed. Operations will include undercover officers to observe activities, a method that has proven successful in taking down drug dealers and solving domestic violence situations.
