The Chonburi Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office and Pattaya City Hall donated 33,000 baht to a family whose home burned down in April.

Chonburi Permanent Secretary Waranon Yimmongkol presented the funds donated by the Royal Rajaprajanugroh Foundation to Wanna Kelly, whose Thepprasit Soi 8 house was heavily damaged by flames April 15. The family had not received any government aid for the fire previously.

The money will be used to purchase materials to rebuild the house. In addition, the foundation, in the name of HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn, provided kitchenware and a new bedroom set.

Pattaya, meanwhile, dispatched engineers to examine the damaged home’s structure and find a contractor to repair it at fair prices. They also presented the family a bag of basic necessities.
