BANGKOK, 12 June 2014 – The Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Channel 5 has sealed a deal with RS Plc to broadcast the remaining 42 World Cup matches to uphold the public’s interests.

Lieutenant General Chart-udom Tidtasiri, Channel 5’s managing director, has announced that the Army’s TV station would link its signals with that of RS for the live broadcast of the 42 remaining matches, which Channel 7 didn’t have the exclusive rights to air. According to the Army, one of its policies is to “return happiness to the Thai people.”

Needless to say, the move has garnered full support from the public and private sectors. Further discussions would be made on how Channel 5 would launch all these matches to let everything fall in place.
