Chakorn takes over as Banglamung district chief

Pattaya-area residents and public officials welcomed Chakorn Kanjawattana as Banglamung district’s new administrative chief.

Permanent Secretary Amnart Charoensri led civil servants, police, village chiefs, senior regional police and Nongprue Mayor Mai Chaiyanit in offering flower bouquets to Chakorn at the district office Jan. 24.

The new district chief’s wife, Usa Kanjawattana, takes over as head of the Banglamung Red Cross.

Chakorn moves to Banglamung after serving as head of Phanat Nikhom District in Chonburi. He succeeds Sakchai Taengho, who was named head of the Interior Ministry’s Investigation and Legal Affairs Bureau.
