Pattaya Business & Tourism Association President Sinchai Wattanasartsathorn and fellow Pattaya City Council members hosted the Aug. 7 Central Festival Pattaya Ideal Awards for seven individuals who either work or live in the city.

Chairwoman of the YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center Praichit Jetapai took the top award for the person bringing the most benefit to Pattaya.

The “Greatest Expat Contributor” award went to Lewis Underwood, head of Jesters Care For Kids.

The “Best Example Family” went to the home of former MP Poramet Ngampichet.

The “Young Successful Executive” went to Boona­nan Pattanasin.

The best looks and personality prize went to Rattana­chai Sutidechanai, former Pattaya City Council member.

The prize for best athlete went to Eakrin Litipanya­wong, managing director of Pattaya Curtain.

Purimpratch Kaiyakham, director of Baan Chang Pattaya, took the award for best fashion.

Following the award ceremony, the crowd was treated to a concert from Keng The Voice.

The day was all part of the mall’s annual commemoration of its 2009 opening.
