Police arrested a British man strolling down Walking Street with an air gun, scaring tourists.

James Stuart Dunlop, 28, was taken into custody around 2 a.m. Oct. 4. He had the Airsoft BB-gun tucked into his pants. The handgun fires plastic bullets, but resembles a real bullet firing handgun.

The Leeds native said he bought the gun for 6,000 baht and didn’t believe carrying it in public was illegal. He was released with a warning, although authorities seized his new toy.
