SA KAEO, Sept 21 - The body of a 73-year-old man was found in a wooded area near the Thai-Cambodian border in this eastern province today.

Police said the body of Samorn Kaewkomol was found about 150 metres from None Sang village in Aranyaprathet district where he lived.

The authorities speculated that he was swept away while while wading in flood waters in the village after receiving a survival kit at nearby Wang Mon village.

Provincial authorities said today that floods which impeded communication and business in Aranyaprathet in the last four days have receded.

Flooding halted trading for several days in Aranyaprathet --the business hub on the Thai-Cambodian border here where the brisk Rong Klua market is located.
