An Algerian man was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a string of hotel rooms in Pattaya.

Nadir Ladmia, 44, was captured after break-ins at the Bombay Hotel and Taj Hotel in South Pattaya on Feb. 9. The suspect pretended he was a guest and stole keys from reception while the clerk was distracted. Ladmia allegedly returned to the Taj three days later to do it again.

The Algerian was captured on security cameras and two arrest warrants were issued. He was eventually tracked down at the Come Back Hotel in Jomtien Beach Feb. 15.

Police said Ladmia confessed to five burglaries.
