Police alleged the men were part of a group of Iraqi, Algerian and Turkish thieves that have been burglarizing houses and luxury hotels across Thailand.

The arrest came after police were tipped off to a planned burglary at the View Talay. Officers said they watched as Twaiur used the 40,000-baht key imported from Australia to open and burglarize the room while Alsadune was the getaway driver. Once Twaiur emerged with loot in hand, officers swooped in.
