About 150 people were arrested in separate raids of illegal gambling dens in Pattaya and Huay Yai.

The May 27 operations targeted a room at the CK Hotel on Pratamnak Road and a 19-rai property on Huay Yai’s Municipal Road 2.

In the Pattaya raid, police used an undercover operative to get operators to open the second-floor room. Then officers rushed in, capturing 29 people playing Hi-Lo. Cards, dice and cash were seized.

Police said the operators confessed that they started the gambling operation in the hotel due to the Thai military’s curfew, which had impacted their normal location.
