Police Major General Adun Narongsak, spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police, said national police chief Adul Saengsingkaew has stressed that police officers monitor against vote-buying, destroying of vote ballots, selling of alcohol at specified times, betting on election results and unlawful moving of people’s house registration to facilitate increased votes.
The spokesman said that Metropolitan Police chief, Police Lieutenant General Khamronwit Thupkrachang, has earmarked the 100,000 baht amount to provide extra incentive for officers on duty during election day. He has also asserted that every policeman with voting right go to the polls on Sunday.
