A British man was killed and two others injured when their Jeep crashed into the back of a large milk truck on Sukhumvit Road in Sattahip.

Front-seat passenger Jack Nash, 20, died in the after-midnight accident 50 meters before Chumchon Ban Bang Sarae School Dec. 27. Two passengers, identified by police as driver John James, 45, and back-seat passenger Jay Riordan, 53, were trapped in the vehicle with rescuers needing 30 minutes to free them.

Aphichet Pongbuppa, the 33-year-old driver of the Pachsinee 42 Co. tanker, claimed that the Jeep was speeding and smashed into his truck, sending the victims spinning 20 meters up the road.
