Tis time to put priorities in order, as most of the world celebrates Christmas. Yes, it has become a commercialized time, but the atmosphere of love and giving still takes top billing. Family together, good food and drink, and gift giving, are all a positive for an otherwise not too nice a time for many. It is time to take a visible stand, by personal involvement, by participation and donation to those who can be directly helped, namely local orphanages and those who are considered disabled. Announcing religious or political preferences have no place here, as they are strictly a personal choice and should be kept to oneself. Be joyous in heart and in giving.
