Police, tourist volunteers, regular or otherwise should have “walking beats” year round all thru Pattaya and Jomtien. Walking and presence of police at unscheduled times and places have proven to be one of the most effective crime prevention programs everywhere. Police boxes announce where the police are to the bad guys and they go do naughty things elsewhere!
