Editor;

Re: Automania, (PM Friday, 13 April 2012). Its about time Thailand got serious on the road rules and crazy drivers. I haven’t been in Thailand for about 7 months now, but first started coming to Thailand in 2003. Never saw so much speeding and crazy driving in my life. Drivers in Australia would be locked up for doing half of what they get away with in Thailand.

    Not only the Thai drivers, speed, drink, many of the Farang drivers lost their license back home for either drunk driving, speeding or both and now they are doing same here.

    Peter, Peter,

    I vastly prefer the Thai styles of road use to the over-regulated, safety at all costs attitude that has infected the self-styled "civilised" world. I have been driving in Thailand since 1993 and hope that the style is never changed to suit the falangs.

    Try to ride a motorbike or drive a car w/ doors unlocked and you'll experience buckets of water in you face/car. Now even at night during songkran
