Re: Pattaya hospitals (PM Mailbag Friday, 11 March 2016) – I visited the Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital 10 years ago and the doctor told me I had cataracts and needed lens transplants. I sought a second opinion in Canada and my ophthalmologist identified “floaters” in the jelly like substance. He told me it was a result of aging and should not be more than a minor nuisance. I wear reading glasses now but other than that my eyes are fine. I’m so glad I didn’t let the money chasers cut my eyes open.
