Students from the King Prajadhipok Institute paid a visit to Nongprue Municipality to see how the sub-district is run.

The 150 students in King Prajadhipok’s government management and public laws program, led by Assistant Professor Kaneungnit Sribuaeim, were met by Mayor Mai Chaiyanit and municipal officials.

Mai presented the history and duties of the Nongprue Municipality, and detailed community developments. He also spoke on “management by networking” with government, private and civil agencies before opening the floor to questions.

The May 8-10 field trip by the university students was aimed at having government workers, metropolitan administrators, and private organizations in Chonburi share their experiences with students.

That will help them increase their knowledge and use the experience in their studies and careers, school officials said.
