Takientia will hold its Loy Krathong ceremony Nov. 27-28 in the Thungnongtakrai neighborhood.

At a Nov. 5 press conference at the Hotel J in Pattaya, Takientia Mayor Manop Prakorbthum said the annual event to preserve Thai tradition will be bigger than past years.

The first day features a country music singing contest for kids and adults, plus performances by Ramsun and musical duo Kratae and Kratai.

On the second day, the observed Loy Krathong holiday, organizers plan a Nang Noppamas pageant with prizes from 6,000-10,000 baht, appearances by celebrities and booths selling locally made goods.
