A South African man committed suicide by shooting himself in the head at a Pattaya shooting range.

Jonathan Osborn Koch, 43, died at Pattaya Memorial Hospital minutes after shooting about 10 rounds of target practice then putting the 11mm pistol to his head and pulling the trigger.

The suicide caught the shooting range attendant by surprise and he was unable to prevent it.

Osborn is the second person this year to commit suicide at the small range at Central Road and Soi 8. Briton Andrew Michael Davis, 42, used a .357 Magnum to take his own life at the stall next to a beer bar in January.

The second man who suicide at the same place. Both of them used almost all their bullets on the target before putting the gun on their head and suicide. Twice, the shooting range attendant got caught by surprise and after having a good fun shooting the targets, they suddenly decided to keep their last bullet to suicide. I am a little bit suspicious on the honnesty of the shoting range managers. I will definitely never go to that place. Koh Larn island have it's shooting range and only 1 dead has been reported in the last 20 years. Over.
