Sattahip School opens expanded library

Royal Thai Navy Vice Adm. Chainarong Charoenrak cut the ribbon opening Sattahip School’s new library building, offering students and teachers an upgraded study and research facility.

Rear Adm. Supong Sirisonthi, deputy commander of the Sattahip Naval Base, attended the Sept. 25 opening with navy officers and government officials.

Rear Adm. Sutheer Sathienthai, principal of Sattahip School, said the 1.2 million baht expansion of the library was designed by the navy Department of Construction and Development and was completed in time for the start of the 2012-13 school year.

The Navy Wives Association presented donated computers and books to the new library to Vice Adm. Chatcharin Chusri.
