Sattahip police arrest 5, seize 2,400 ya ba pills

Sattahip police arrested seven people and seized 2,400 methamphetamine tablets in a raid of a Soi Bonkai apartment.

Alleged local drug kingpin Bunruan “Nok Bonkai” Nanthisree, 42, was captured with 1,500 ya ba tablets, a loaded .357 revolver, truck and motorbike at the Moo 6 rental flat Aug. 21.

Also apprehended was suspected dealer Khwanchai Bualuang, 27, with 900 ya ba pills, and four people using drugs at the residence: Davith Sujjachalee, 40, Montree Thanij, 29, Asia Wanchuen, 40, and Janthip Nusanram, 24.

Pol. Col. Suwichan Yankittikul said police had learned drug dealers and users were squatting in the no-address building, discovering it was allegedly being run by Bunruan, an ex-convict who’d returned to dealing drugs in Sattahip.
