The Sattahip Naval Base sent boats, rescue equipment and troops to assist flood-relief efforts in Ayutthaya.

Capt. Suphasit Boorna-oosoth, Navy Region 1 deputy director for civil affairs, dispatched five frogmen from the Naval Special Warfare unit as well as a two trucks, two rescue boats, two rubber Zodiac-style boats and 100 tires to hard-hit Phranakhorn Sri Ayuthaya.

Vice Adm. Pongsak Phuriroj, likewise, assigned 18 men to deliver five rubber boats and three trucks.
