Broken bottles turned into knives resulted in injuries and as a Russian man Thai woman fought it out in an area hotel room.
Roman Prokudin, 34, was taken into custody at The Net on Soi Khanomwan Pairoj Nov. 18. He had suffered a minor stab wound to the chest from a broken bottle and was treated at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya.
More seriously injured was Risa Cahroen, 34, who was found lying unconscious in a pool of her own blood. Risa was placed in intensive care at Pattaya Memorial Hospital where she was treated for stab wounds to her breast and numerous other cuts.
Police disclosed no motive for the attacks, but charged the Russian with assault pending further investigation.
