A Russian woman lost more than 40,000 baht in cash and electronics when a pair of thieves on motorbikes snatched her handbag.
Tatiana Ersh, 43, told police she was walking with her husband and 9-year-old daughter near Naklua Road and Soi 12 when two men dressed in dark clothing and helmets drove by and grabbed her bag.
She said the family was on the way to Pattaya Beach and had $500, 5,000 baht and a 20,000 baht camera, plus passports, in the bag.
The suspects remain at large.
The Tatiana family reports the crime to police.
