Royal foundation donates aid to Chonburi flood victims

The royally backed Rajaprajanugroh Foundation donated 1,000 bags of relief supplies to flood victims in two Chonburi districts.

Foundation President Kong-ek Wilas Rujiwattanpong and Secretary Prasong Phitunkijja presented the relief bags to Chonburi Gov Khomsan Ekachai Oct. 11 at Phanat Nikhom.

Prasong said HM the King was worried about flooding in Phanat Nikhom and Phanthong districts and instructed the foundation to make its supplies available to Chonburi.

Flooding has abated somewhat in the two areas, although some flooding persists in 186 villages affecting 11,241 people, Khomsan said.
