The seminar covered four topics: Patient screening, medical processes and recording, medical-result assessment, and the inter-hospital patient-transfer system.

The lecturer talked about what he has gained from his experiences that could be used in the management and development of the operational system.

As for patient screening, the beginning of the treatment process is categorized into three groups: emergency – those needed help within four minutes; urgent – those who can wait 30 minutes; and non-urgent patients who can be transferred or sent to outpatient services.

Generally, he said, non-urgent patients can wait an hour for service.
