Dr. Chatchaya Chanwet, MD, pharmacist from Pattaya Hospital, gives a talk on the usage of home medicines.
Kanda said training sessions are organized when the department receives inquiries about becoming public-health volunteers. The volunteers work in neighborhood health clinics that offer advice and organize activities. Clinics can also dispense medication for colds and general illnesses, she said.
