Sattahip police are pursuing three drug users suspected of setting an abandoned house on fire.

Firefighters took 20 minutes to extinguish the Dec. 14 blaze at the concrete-block house on Soi Yenrudee. No one was injured.

Neighbors told police the house, owned by a Sattahip gold shop owner, was long abandoned and now frequented by junkies and young gang members. Prior to the fire, three young drug users were seen.

Police found drug paraphernalia and paint thinner inside the house, which they confiscated as evidence.
