PEA untangles wires on Second Road

The Provincial Electrical Authority is cleaning up its tangled mess of wires on Second Road, hoping to prevent power outages during rainstorms.

PEA workers untangled and retied lines as city workers trimmed trees that could yank wires during windy conditions July 30 along Central and Second roads.

PEA worker Sommart Dupsanthiya said the work, slated to continue to Soi 4, will improve the look of the landscape, prevent short circuits improve power distribution.

The utility has repeatedly warned businesses and other utility companies not to interfere with its lines when installing their own services.
