PEA trimming trees in Pattaya

Friday, 20 June 2014 From Issue Vol. XXII No. 25 By  Jetsada Homklin

The Provincial Electrical Authority is trimming trees in Pattaya to prevent fires, as well as accidents from amateur branch pruners.

The PEA proactively cuts back branches intertwining with power lines on Thepprasit road and surrounding areas before rainy season to prevent electrical fires. But it also has seen too many home and business owners get electrocuted after snipping power lines while cutting back their own trees.
