The Provincial Electricity Authority installed new high-voltage power poles to enhance service in North Pattaya.

Workers could be seen burying anchoring and prepping the new poles on Phettrakul Road May 29. A dozen poles were planned from Central Center North Pattaya to the Soi Hollywood intersection.

Engineer Thaworn Onnkhumaa said workers were working overtime to get the poles in to bring more power to North Pattaya, which has been underserved by the utility.

I hope they installed them with the customary 10 degree pattaya leaning from vertical , to fit in with other poles installed around Pattaya. The new ones installed when they widened the road on the hill of Thappraya Rd going to Jomtien, were mostly installed to at about 10 degree lean, presumably so they would look like the older poles on the otherside of the road. Great design and workmanship on show!
