The visitors were greeted with a stage performance from students, songs from the marching band and an aerobics display from athletics students.
School No. 5 won the provincial Best in Health designation in July, marking the fourth time since 2008 it has earned honors for its health-promotion efforts. Now at the “diamond level” the school is being evaluated to compete for national honors.

“I believe in the importance of students’ health development, therefore, I have been determined to promote and develop students’ health through projects where students had leadership responsibility leading to many activities,” Montree said. “The projects have received sponsorship from public and private organizations, resulting in students having good health plus a healthy mind.”
“The Ministry of Health has promoted good health according to the Best in Health School guidelines since 1998, receiving cooperation from Ministry of Education’s schools, Pattaya City, and the Ministry of Interior,” Danai explained. “The final evaluation’s results will be announced at the end of the year.”
