Pattaya police broke up a juvenile gang of Thai and Cambodian teens that allegedly have been burglarizing foreigner-owned homes for months.

Five members of the so-called Black Suit Gang of teens ages 14-17 allegedly were led by a Cambodian youth named Korn. Police said he confessed to leading his gang to break into 20 Pattaya homes owned by foreigners, with expectations of getting rich off their foreign wealth.

Police recovered from the gang members mobile phones, notebook computers, cash and a bicycle, along with burglary tools.

Somruedee Phukab, the wife of one of the foreign homeowners, reported that her home had been broken into on June 24 and she actually saw the burglars as they fled.
