Rayong police are searching for two Thai youths who robbed a wheelchair-bound Swedish woman as she was shopping.

Anna Julun, 42, told police Oct. 19 that two men, around age 20, had approached her speaking English at the Rayong Market. One asked for a cigarette lighter and when she opened her purse, they grabbed the bag and fled on a Honda motorbike. Inside the bag was a mobile phone, camera, Apple iPad and other valuables.

Police put out a description of the thieves, but got bogged down in rush-hour traffic, allowing the pair to escape. Investigators are now reviewing security-camera footage in hopes of identifying and catching the suspects.

Anna Julun explains to police through a translator how she was robbed by two cowardly thieves. Anna Julun explains to police through a translator how she was robbed by two cowardly thieves.

So true, Bobo. I wonder if the lady needs financial help? Farangs are being targeted badly now and the dam minimum wage is going up 33%.
