Nigerian hung up after police dial into suspected drug dealing

A Nigerian allegedly taking phone orders for crystal methamphetamines was arrested after police dialed him up.

Cyril Chukwuemeka Akabueze, 27, was taken into custody in South Pattaya Nov. 15 after allegedly accepting 10,000 baht for 5g of ya ice. Police found 5.5g on his person.

Police picked up on the Nigerian’s suspected drug dealing after learning of two telephone numbers drug users had been calling to order supplies. Police also found two mobile phones with SIM cards matching those numbers on his person.

Akabueze was charged with possession and intent to sell a Class 1 narcotic.
