Cmdr. Niwet Butsri led the Nov. 17 field trip to the Navy’s Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Sattahip.
The trip was suggested by the Chulalongkorn University Relief Center, which was sending 300 flood victims to the Navy’s Air and Coast Defense Command’s hangers for shelter. The 57 who attended the trip were the first to arrive.
Royal Thai Navy officials helped flood evacuees pass the time with an informational visit to the Navy’s Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Sattahip.
