Navy introduces flood victims to turtles in Sattahip

Royal Thai Navy officials took 57 flood evacuees under their care to see hundreds of animals very accustomed to lots of water.

Cmdr. Niwet Butsri led the Nov. 17 field trip to the Navy’s Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Sattahip.

The trip was suggested by the Chulalongkorn University Relief Center, which was sending 300 flood victims to the Navy’s Air and Coast Defense Command’s hangers for shelter. The 57 who attended the trip were the first to arrive.
