Navy ACDC leadership changes hands

The commander of the Royal Thai Navy’s Strategic Studies Center has been tapped to take over command of the Air and Coastal Defense Command in Sattahip.

Outgoing ACDC chief Rear Adm. Noppadol Suphakorn handed over the unit flags and administrative documents to Rear Adm. Luechai Ruddit at an Oct. 4 ceremony.

Noppadol bid his farewells, thanking officers and sailors who worked under him the past two years. He reassured them that his successor was blessed with great potential and leadership qualities.

Luechai promised to perform his duties with honesty and better the foundation of the navy, The 1,000 sailors and officers assembled stood in line stretching to the door to say goodbye to their old boss and hello to the new one.
